VOLYA FILMS - opgericht in 2004 - is gevestigd in Rotterdam. We produceren fictie films en creatieve documentaires, voornamelijk internationale co-producties en werken met jonge en ervaren filmmakers. We hebben onze films verkocht aan verschillende broadcasters waaronder de IKON, NPS, TV Catalunya, YLE, NHK, ARTE Frankrijk.

Onder ons recente werk vallen DE NIEUWE HEILIGE van Allard Detiger (IDFA 2010 Dutch Competitie), GRANDE HOTEL van Lotte Stoops (Hot Docs 2011 Intnl Competitie) THE LIGHT THIEF (Svet-Ake) van Aktan Arym Kubat (Quinzaine / Regisseur's Fortnight Cannes 2010), GEVANGENEN VAN DE GROND van Stella van Voorst van Beest (Closing Night Film Nederlands Film Festival; IDFA; BAFICI), LOS VIAJES DEL VIENTO van Ciro Guerra (Cannes - Un Certain Regard; IFF Rotterdam), en DOUBLE TAKE van Johan Grimonprez (Berlinale Forum Expanded; Middle East IFF Abu Dhabi Award Beste Documentaire Regisseur; Sundance Film Festival).

Volya Films is momenteel bezig met het ontwikkelen en financieren van nieuwe projecten met
Karin Junger, André van der Hout, Gülsah Dogan en Marjoleine Boonstra.

Volya Films is lid van de EAVE, Eurodoc, Binger en EDN netwerken. Denis Vaslin is lid van de Europese FIlm Academy en Documentaire Producenten Nederland. In 2011 heeft hij in Frankrijk samen met Lucas Rosant en Eric Mabillon Mandra Films opgericht.

Currently, we are developing projects with a.o. Marjoleine Boonstra, André van der Hout, Gülsah Dogan, Marleine van de Werf and Karin Junger.

Volya Films is a member of the EAVE, Eurodoc, Binger and EDN networks. Denis Vaslin is a member of the European Film Academy and the Documentary Producers Netherlands. He created in 2011 Mandra Films with Lucas Rosant and Eric Mabillon in France.
